It is hard to imagine that a marriage without love. Needless to say, without love, a marriage relationship would be meaningless and purposeless. There is no single person who could get married without love.

We all have our own concept of love. Love might mean different things to different people. To some love is care, to some it is concern and to some others it is compassion and so on. Whatever ideas one might have about love, you will agree that to be able to love someone we should be able to devote our energy and time to those we love. It is more so in a marriage. In a marriage relationship, love is solace, kindness, tenderness and so many other nice feelings.

It is hard to imagine that a marriage without love. Needless to say, without love, a marriage relationship would be meaningless and purposeless. You wouldn’t know what your life is all about and whom you are living for, to marry a person without love. If you want to develop a capability to love, the first step is to learn how to love yourself.

You may wonder how self-love helps your marriage. If you try yourself hard to love yourself and your other half, your attitudes and approach will be changed as well. Some certain abilities involved in the love will be extended to your spouse: you will understand the way he feels and what he needs, you will express yourself bravely without reservation, you will listen to him patiently without giving any judgment to interrupt him while he talks, you will take it as a good opportunity to improve yourself whenever he makes a criticism, you will let him to do anything he wants as long as it won’t harm your relationship.

A sense of deep intimacy will be achieved between you and your spouse if only you can show the above qualities. Sometimes things are not always like what we expected since no two people can live in a world without difficulties. You will tackle it in a good way without hurting each others feelings. Your relationship with your spouse will be tightening up by this type of freedom. As a matter of fact, difficulties can strengthen your relationship instead of breaking it.

How do you build your capability to love your spouse? To love your spouse in healthy ways, you can do the following:

1.Learn to see him as a separate human being with valid emotions and needs in life.

2.Do not be disturbed by differences.

3. Be compassionate to your partner.

4.Be more understanding and accept that his views are important to him as much as your views are important to you.

5.Learn to agree to disagree in different type of opinion.

6.Do not try to snatch his freedom.

7.Try not to have an attitude of eye-to-eye. If he disagrees just let him be.

8.Do not be demand for his attention or love. This is hard because his love and attention means a lot to you. But love never comes on demand. Instead, be patient and loving and you will be returned with love.

9.Sometimes, you may do something for him just because you love him. This is good because it adds up strength to your bonding.

Marriage requires love, care, concern equality and compromise in all matters. It works only when both the partners work at their relationship as a team.

Depression is often just disregarded as something that only affects a certain type of person or people, weak winded, addicts, the list goes on. In truth though if you or even anyone that you do or have cared about has been affected by it, you will know it to be very serious. The way that it is continually portrayed now in the entertainment industry does vary but quite often a joke is made out of it, like it is funny to watch or not really that important. Of course it is real, so what does a depressive disorder mean really?

It is unfortunate that alot of people do not realize that depression is actually a serious medical condition and as such it is treatable. Please don’t believe that it is something that is just made up or in your head, because that is not the case. Most people that suffer don’t seek treatment because they think that there is no help available, however even the more severe of cases can be improved. Naturally the serious cases can tear a family apart not to mention the life of the person that is suffering from it. The things to understand firstly are what is the cause, how does it affect you and of course just what is it. Depression is the second leading cause of days if work in the United States, only behind Heart Disease which is quite a statistic. So what is it then that affects all those people.

It has been noted in a large medical study, that depression has caused quite significant symptoms in those tested, even more than arthritis, chronic lung disease, hypertension, and diabetes. In two categories of problems it is side by side with coronary artery disease. More than just feeling down, sad or a bit off it is a medical condition, the same way that diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease is. If treatment is not sought it can have complete control over your mood, physical health, behavior and even your thoughts and feelings.

Depression symptoms are characterized not only by negative thoughts and moods, but also by specific changes in your body’s functions such as, irregular eating, sleeping, crying spells, and decreased sex drive. If nothing is done it can increase the risk of developing coronary artery disease, HIV, and asthma, among others. Much more than just a sad mood, if not adequately treated, it can become severe in affecting an individual’s emotions and feelings, and the thing is, that everyone is at risk.

Depression seems to be much more prominent in affecting women than men, according to a number of studies. The cause of this unfortunately is still not clear. Not only do women seem to be more at risk but they tend to be more likely to try and simply work through the depression themselves. Now this can and does work, and is obviously a great outcome when this is the case, but it really does come down to the actual cause of it in the first place. What is also good news is that a depressive illness can be treated rather successfully in more then eighty percent of people suffering. It is still sad though that more people do not seek help, as even talking about it openly can make a massive impact.

If you find that nothing is working for you, there is an herbal supplement called Thyromine, which is claimed to be able to reduce depression. Thyromine increases the production of thyroid hormones and stimulates the immune system so that you can get relief from depression.

Steve Simpson is a small time website creator that focuses on assisting people, his latest website about the product Thyromine offers an independent review and links to more detailed information.

Do you remember when you moved the furniture in your room? Do you remember how you kinda bumped into everything a couple of times and then figured it out. The funny thing is that it took you two to three turns of bumping into things in the dark, before you worked out things had changed.

And the brain learned. Through repetition.

But remember when you put your finger into a candle flame and got burned? You never ever did that again, did you? The brain learned a lesson very, very quickly. You didn’t need a second turn to figure out the danger.

In effect, the brain learns through:
1) Repetition
2) Extreme danger

Since your business isn’t in extreme danger all day, through out the year, the chances are your brain isn’t learning as much as it possibly could. Which is why it’s important to use the concept of repetition. Take one concept that you learn in business and repeat it time and time again. For example: Referrals. Ask for referrals every single day, in every single way. And mark a tick if you succeed. Mark a cross if you fail. In under ten days, referrals will become part of your system. And you’ll never forget it.

Repeat. It’s the only way to learn.

Imagine thirty thousand menacing obstacles in your path to success.

You’re dehydrated. Hungry as hell. And wobbling like an Irishman on too much Guinness. Your eyes hurt, your head throbs and your will is all but broken. You’re not even sure you want to go on.

You feel like Frodo.

As in the character Frodo, in the final episode of the ‘Lord of the Rings-The Return of the King.’

Terror and dismay gleam from Frodo’s big, expressive blue eyes. In the distance, he can see his goal. But it seems to him like he’ll never get there. He turns to Sam and says in a defeated tone, “Sam, it’s the Eye,” referring to the eye of Sauron - the enemy he must destroy.

And Sam turns to Frodo in a soft, encouraging voice and says,
“Let’s just get to the bottom of this hill, Mr.Frodo.”

Let’s just get to the bottom of this hill, Mr.Frodo.

I spoke at the World Internet Summit in Sydney, Australia, last week. And I saw about two hundred and fifty Frodos in the audience.

Confused. Weary. Inundated with dozens of tactics and strategies about the Internet, their eyes stared into nothingness. Frozen stiff at the task of having to build an Internet business from scratch, almost all of them seemed to have a cross too heavy to bear.

And they didn’t exactly have Sam to egg them on.

I said to them, like I say to you. “Let’s just get to the bottom of this hill, Mr.Frodo.” Then we’ll do the next hill, and the next and the next, till we get to our destination.

You’re bound to be struggling. I struggle in Yoga class. I’m a first-class doofus. Five minutes after we start the class, I wonder when it’s all going to end. I look at the ‘human pretzels’ twisting and turning to the left and right of me, and I can’t ever see
myself being so flexible. And I despair.

But I’ve got my own personal Sam. I simply say to myself:”Let’s just get to the bottom of this hill, Mr.Frodo”

And hurrah, yippeee yahooey, I’ve actually made it past
Yoga session No.2.

Dealing with your ego is part of your spiritual growth. Use this spirituality information to understand where the ego hangs out so that you can gain more understanding about the ego and how to avoid its influence. Seek the influence of the ego’s counter-balancing force, your sacred self.I hate to be redundant, but I love Albert Einstein for being such an enlightened messenger and what he had to say about how influential our thoughts are. Remember this? “You can’t get any revolutionary ideas by thinking the same thoughts that you have been thinking. You have to change the way you are thinking and think different thoughts.” If it was important enough for Albert Einstein to think this way then, personally, that is good enough for me. In fact, changing my way of thinking and thinking different thoughts is how I got to a point in my life where I was able to sit down and write a book. Now that’s a revolutionary idea, isn’t it? Do you have a book inside you? Do you have a song in you that needs to get out and be heard? Do you have a passion in you that is trying to break through and reach the forefront of your thinking and desires? Methinks that you do. There is a revolution that is going on inside you and you need to take some time to listen to yourself and nurture the voice that beckons you to reveal to yourself what you truly desire. I am not speaking about what the talking heads on the television are telling you to desire. I am not speaking about what your parents told you to desire. I am not speaking about what Charlie, down at the neighborhood pub, told you to desire. I am speaking about what your inner guidance system is trying to reveal to you. But let’s not be mistaken here because there are two heads to this inner voice that is trying to break through. One voice belongs to your ego and the other voice belongs to your sacred self. Remember how we live in a universe of relativity? Remember how we learned that everything in this physical universe is in relationship to everything else? Well, that inner voice inside our heads is no different than anything else in this world of relativity. At one end of the spectrum is our ego and at the other end is our sacred self. The ego is tied to the philosophy that we are separate from each other, separate from all other things in the universe and separate from God. The sacred self is tied to the philosophy that we are all one with each other, one with all things in the universe and one with God. Our lives exist between the margins. The ego is part of the human make-up and will be with us whenever we dwell in the realm of the physical and live within this concept we know of as time because the ego only exists in our past memories or our future imaginings. The ego cannot exist in the present moment of now. That is where the spirit dwells. When we return to the realm of the absolute, everything reverts back to the love that is the core of our being and the ego disappears because we are once again in full knowledge that we are one with the source of all that exists and there is no concept such as time. There is only the present moment of now and the ego cannot exist in this environment. Right now we are living in this physical universe, ergo the ego is very much a part of our make-up, but we must also remember that the sacred self is just as much a part of our beingness as the ego. Unfortunately, we have been conditioned so much by our society to listen to, and take the advice of, our ego that we don’t think about our sacred self too much. The reason for this preponderance of ego-based thinking is that most people do not dwell in the present moment. We are conditioned to live in the past or the future. The more you are able to live in the present moment the more you will be able to lose the influence of the ego and listen to your sacred self, or spirit.

What are the big diet plan secrets when it comes to staying fit and gorgeous. How about extreme workouts and well planned meals. Here are some of the diet secrets of seven women

celebrities.

1. Jennifer Aniston The star of the phenomenal television show Friends not only mesmerized audiences with her adorable comic sense and her famous hairstyle, she was also known for having one of the

sexiest bodies in Hollywood, as she appeared in countless magazine covers. To stay trim, Jennifer follows the 40:30:30 diet method. The diet consists of:

40% Low glycemic carbohydrates -Foods such as beans, fruits and vegetables, legumes

30% lean proteins -Tofu, fish, chicken, turkey, beef and low fat dairy products

30% essential fats -nuts and seeds, fish and olive oils

It is essential that every meal should contain macronutrients to attain the balance of hormones and maximum weight loss.

2. Kate Hudson The gorgeous daughter of actress Goldie Hawn gained 60 pounds during her pregnancy, which she needed to shed quickly before commencing on her next film. From her previous eating plan,

she switched to a higher protein diet. She consumed high protein meals in smaller portions, and she combined this diet with an exercise program that includes weight training and

cardiovascular workouts. After getting a lot of flak because of her post-pregnancy figure, Kate removed all that baby weight in only four months and has gained abdominal muscles that

gained the envy of many in Hollywood.

3. Oprah Winfrey As one of the most successful talk-show hosts in the world, there is no question that Oprah needs to maintain her physical appearance for her millions of audiences. Known as one of those

celebrities who are constantly battling weight gain, she has recently toned up her figure and has never looked figure in age 50 by combining a regular exercise regime and diet plan. Oprah

works out five days a week, spending 30 minutes on the threadmill and doing free weights. Her eating plan consists of legumes, fish, nuts, fruits and vegetables, chicken and dairy products

that are lowfat. She limits her consumption of white sugar and flour. Oprah also credits her trim figure to her habit of not eating anything after seven in the evening.

4. Gwyneth Paltrow A lot of people may find it hard to believe that the perpetually slim Academy award-winning actress actually needs to diet. Gwyneth actually follows a healthy eating plan that resembles

Oprah’s, avoiding sugar and white flour. She usually follows a macrobiotic diet, eating foods like vegetables, brown rice, and lean meat. She also eliminated dairy from her diet, and does

yoga everyday.

5. Madonna The pop star known as the Material Girl has always flaunted a body that is to die for, and has become a true fitness paragon over the years. She keeps herself in tip-top shape by having

Ashtanga Yoga, and follows a strict diet that mostly shuns junk foods. She adopted a macrobiotic eating plan that includes organic foods rich in lean protein.

6. Claudia Schiffer The bodacious German supermodel eats salad and steamed vegetables for dinner and eats only fruits before the afternoon. While on locations, she prefers to eat black grapes and drinks

tomato juice and herbal tea.

7. Christie Brinkley Long-time supermodel maintains her all-American good looks by being a vegetarian. She does not keep junk foods of any kind inside her home to make sure that she does not eat them when

cravings occur. She snacks on sweet potatoes in place of candy bars, and she adopts a liquid juice diet when she needs to slim down fast.

Celebrities are just like ordinary people. They need to maintain their figures just like anyone else, and there is more pressure on their part since they are constantly in the public eye.

Ordinary folks can have celebrity-like bodies, too, and by following these diet and fitness plans, they can also look like red-carpet worthy.

Although your cat may act independent and be litter-trained they still rely on you for regular veterinary care, safe shelter, water, food and etc. By taking care of there essential needs you’ll be in a much better place to develop a rewarding and mutual relationship. It’s important that your cat’s ID and collar tag include your name, address and telephone number. You should make sure they have one for the simple reason that if they do find themselves outside and lost then having the ID tag and collar will help them return home.

Your cat should be kept indoors when possible. This is best for the community, your cat and you when you keep your cat safely confined at all times.

Make the decision to neuter or spay your cat as soon as possible. This one simple action will help reduce the incident of cat overpopulation and assist in keeping them healthier.

In the final analysis it’s up to you to make sure your cat is trained not to act in a way you don’t like. This would include scratching furniture and jumping on counter tops. Despite popular opinion your cat can be trained like any other animal. It’s important to have patience, effort and understanding when doing it.

To keep your cat’s coat healthy, soft and shiny make a it a point to groom them often. To keep your cat’s hair from matting it should be brushed. This will also decrease the creation of hairballs by your cat. Hairballs are produced when cats groom themselves and in the process they ingest hair.

Closing

In closing just remember to be patient and loyal with your cat. Also remember that the majority of behavior problems can be resolved and make sure you have reasonable expectations of your cat’s behavior. Contact the local animal shelter or veterinarian if you are having major issues with your cat’s behavior.

While focusing on the bald spot at the crown of my bartender’s head, I began reviewing my extensive knowledge on the subject of money, and after a brief mental wrestling match, I came up with three things that are absolutely true.1) Paper currency smells bad if you make the effort to check.2) Coins are a worthless nuisance now that you can stick a dollar bill in the vending machines.

3) Credit seems to be the true money in todays world, and its overuse has caused the stock market to tumble faster than George Bush’ s approval ratings.

These are my three absolutes, not counting the vodka in my drink.

The best place to get additional information about money would be my bank, which just happens to be across the street from this bar. The police here in Tucson have an interesting technique that they fondly call cuff and stuff. It makes a catchy phrase, but is extremely uncomfortable when applied. For this reason, I remain glued to my bar stool.

Personally, my only concern about money is restricted to making sure I can afford the apple butter to cover my waffles. Dry waffles are the number one cause of choking deaths in men over fifty.

Another interesting statistic concerning money is the revelation that the number one cause of divorce in this country is financial problems. My marriage has never been in jeopardy, despite going through some tough financial times. In the early years of our marriage, Wanda and I slept on the floor and sustained ourselves on one meal a day.

Instead of causing us to separate, the financial struggles brought us closer together and made us stronger. Misery loves company. We have been married for 34 years, which is one year longer than Charlie Manson has been in prison.

Money can be used for good or evil, but contains neither of those qualities in and of itself. Money is inanimate, and stays where it’s put unless the fan is on. It takes people to bring out those characteristics.

Our currency is made up of a combination of linen and cotton, much like my shirt. My shirt is not good or evil, it is simply too tight.

Money can’t feed a child, but people can.

Money can’t buy happiness, but you can find it within you.

Money can’t solve your problems, but it will hire a hitman.

Some folks choose to hoard their money, and die with vast riches accumulated that can’t go with them.

Other people are generous beyond their means and die destitute, yet rich in a way most of us will never know.

If you were offered the choice of owning a 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo, or giving 124,000 hungry children one McChicken each, which would you choose?

Of course the easy answer is to say you would do both or neither, but this is my story and those are your only two choices. Which would be more rewarding to you? Don’ t forget the Porsche will do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.

Money merely shines a light on the true nature within each individual that comes into contact with it. It is our own free will, and the desires of our heart that will determine what type of steward we will be.

Good? Evil? Or maybe just average.

As I write the final words of my discourse on a napkin, Julio serves me my sixth mojito. I slide him a twenty, and tell him to keep the change.

Now that was money well spent.

You’re all set to go on your long planned, much awaited spa vacation. Maybe you’re heading off to exotic Tugu or maybe adventure-filled Sydney! You’ve read your newsletters for deals and discounts, and consulted your forums for advice. You’re totally ready! You can smell your wonderful aromatherapy candles, feel the soothing massage on you’re back. Nothing strange, nothing freaky, just 100% stress-free relaxation… Wait, wait wait!!! Hold that thought just a minute, and get yourself acquainted with these out of this world, scary, bizarre and just plain weird spa treatments! Don’t sign yourself up for these if what you’re after is your run of the mill spa-tastic experience. Relaxing?! Hell no! Intense is more like it!1.Bird Sh!t all over you face AND you have to pay for it too!!! That’s right! This special facial made out of Nightingale poop is supposedly an old world secret from Japan. Supposedly used by Geishas to achieve that pearly-white, smooth complexion, nightingale excrements are said to be full of yummy enzymes really good for your skin! No sh!t?! Pun definitely intended.

2.A Barbeque Wrap- You, not your lunch dummy! -You start off this tantalizing journey with a thorough peppercorn rub. Then, you move on to a total body coating of paprika, cayenne pepper and tomato sauce. This is one delicious experience you don’t get to have everyday!

3. Cactus Massage- Forget the soothing hands that run across your back. The latest backrub these days involves spine-free cactus paddles and “pulque” alcohol, an extract from the agave plant, and a member of the tequila family. This will make one literal spine-tingling episode.

4.Ear-candling- Too lazy to clean your own ears? Let a candle flame do it for you! Ear-candling is an alternative medicine practice and spa treatment that claims to help in the natural cleaning of earwax and remove toxins. It is performed by lighting the end of a hollow candle, while the other end of the candle touches the ear’s opening. Ear-citing!

5.Beer-pedicure- Who says beer is only good for drinking? Several spas have found out that beer enzymes actually moisturize your skin effectively, making it a good solution for a pedicure soak. Of course, it’s totally up to you if you want to pair this up with a hotdog, a steak or some pretzels.

6. Fanny Facial- If you only pay attention to your face, your derriere might get depressed. Cheer it up with the fanny facial, a combination body scrub, microcurrents for pimples down there, and sunless tanning all targeted for your bum. In a much different context, but the same message anyway- Bottoms up!

7.Snake Massage- I’ve saved the craziest for last! Here’s a scaly way to soothe out those kinks- 6 non-venomous but still hissy and slimy snakes slither across your back to caress your aching muscles and joints. People who have tried it out claim the massage is actually very effective and soothing. To each his own right? Just a word of advice, make sure those snakes don’t get any ideas of crawling into dark “cave-y” holes nearby!

Happy Weekend!

It seemed like only yesterday that I was living in Washington, D.C., working in corporate America, waking up at 6 am, rushing with my coffee while I brushed my teeth and put on my pinstripe suit and yellow power tie, and drove to work, arriving before rush hour. Only to be stressed out the rest of the day and night. After a major heart attack, a burst appendicitis, a dysfunctional vagus nerve (requiring an implant) and a myriad of other health problems, I was put on the corporate sidelines, and, doctors said I would not be working again. I was only forty years old.

To be technical, I was now considered disabled. I did not buy the term. I bought a cheap computer and learned all I could about the Internet. I learned how to be a cartoonist and writer. I learned how to outsource and license the manufacturing of my image products. I became an entrepreneur within a few years, yet the government still considered me disabled.

So now I was out to prove something. Though my body could not work like my mind, my mind did indeed still function, so, to me, I was hardly disabled. But I had to prove it to myself. So after creating Londons Times Cartoons, the most visited cartoon site on the Internet, I felt, “this is a good start”. 9 e-stores later, I knew I was onto something, but, of course “disabled”.

Somehow, I felt I still had something to prove to myself so I learned a new skill online, Internet business and technology at a very good accredited college, finished nearly four years, and am on break. I was on scholarship by the way. And I am disabled. Go figure.

I told my local social security office of my new business and education activities and even applied for their PASS program. They simply ignored my suggestion that maybe a disability is not a disability at all. If one really wants to do something, just do it, disabled or not.

I have discussed my ability to accomplish with many other so-called disabled persons, and have discovered many similar stories. I am certainly not a hero nor even unique. Many have made accomplishments that I only hope to come close to doing.

Which brings me to the whole issue of labeling. What is so productive about labeling? I have been ten times more productive as a “disabled person” than when I was “fully functional” (pushing and signing papers mostly), in corporate America. It is truly something to think about.
